Hi Denise, 100% agree about the 2013 election. i have been lucky in life, great parents and teachers who inspired me to think for myself. I believe in left wing politics. I have followed you for a while on Twt and enjoy comments that you make. Keep up the good work. I have only just chased up your blog site tonight.
I am an old geriatric new to this interwebie but am a big fan.
    Ciao Stephen

    Hi Denise,

I am a mature-age student (studying human sustainability) and doing my final project on the effectiveness of social enterprises and, as is often the case with searching for things online, I stumbled upon your blog. I REALLY like your attitude and am fascinated to discover your Benalla ties (My family background is based around Benalla and Baddaginnie!)

Are you based in Melbourne now? Do you do public talks? What are you up to these days? How can we engage with you more? Why don’t you get back into politics and become the SECOND Aussie female PM? I’d love to meet you some day – you are a voice of sanity in a frighteningly nutso time!

      Hi Nicky,

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy my writing. I am actually based in Seymour now. Yes I do do public talks on the odd occasion. I also write for http://www.independentaustralia.net but havent written anything for a while. Really must get back into it. I have been away for 3 months and hard to get back into the swing of things when one gets home. May try State again for 2014…still pondering on that. By the time they get around to having another female MP…I think I will 80!!!! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help with your research.

    Hi Denise,

My names is Jacob Chacko and I am originally from Benalla but currently studying/working in Melbourne. A little bird whispered in my ear that you are running for the seat of Euroa! I would be very interested to hear about some of your policies. Sounds like you’ve got a lot planned 🙂

    Best,

    Jacob

      Hi Jacob,,
Yes I nominated but unfortunately some spiteful, factional faceless men and women (I dont know who as one is not allowed to know who they are!) refused to endorse me..and after 5 months of being the only candidate they suddenly endorsed someone else who no one knew about. So unfortunately I wont be standing.

Hi Denise, just tripped over your very inciteful blog. Is there any way that the truth about Julie Bishop /Gillon’s role in the CSR asbestos compensation case can be more widely known ? After her relentless pursuit of Julia Gillard, it is only just that her own past should come back to bite her.

    Hello Denise,
I note that you are a disability advocate and have some sort of interest in Myanmar (or is just the emergence of Aung San Suu Kyi?) How about an interest in the disabled in Myanmar? If so, please email me at jeffress@optusnet.com.au
